Mites Dark Blue

We had a jam packed weekend filled with three exciting wins against Malone, Potsdam and Canton at the Scotts' Memorial Mites tournament! Every single one of our players battled hard and left it all out there on the ice.

And then just like that we found ourselves lugging kiddos for the last time, tiny skates still strapped on, across the Chazy parking lot from one freezing rink to the other for the final game of the final tournament. You did it Dark Blue! You actually made it all the way to the end of the hockey season. Phew!!!

Guess the only thing left to do now is to kick some butt in the Parents vs. Kids games tomorrow... GAME ON you little rascals!!

Congrats to Riuari for earning the hustle helmet last weekend! We have all loved watching you skate better and better each game. Keep up the good work, buddy! Our team worked together and showed we have what it takes to beat the Cougars for the very last time this season. Go Dark Blue!!

Dark Blue was chillin' HARD in Sara-Placid! Our kiddos held their own all weekend long against teams like SLP and Chazy and even went head to head against PYH Light Blue for the championship game. Brrr-avo Gang!!

How about those two really BIG wins against the Cougars and Chazy? WOW! Congrats to Porter and Jesse who were the proud recipients of the Hustle Helmet. You consistently role model what it means to be an excellent team player both on and off the ice. Keep shining bright!!

What a great time we had at the BarDown ShowDown Mite tournament in Malone this past weekend. The kids played their little hearts out and that cowbell was just a ringing!

We won a few, tied a few and even got to play Light Blue. Keep up the hard work, RoadRunners. Happy birthday, Owen!

Our Dark Blue team has been super busy with games these past few weeks... Maverick impressed us all game long defending the net against the Cougars. Porter had so many great shots on goal and Parker played some crazy good defense. Look at us skating hard into 2025!

In a double header against the Saranac Lake Lakers this morning, Amelie was making a list and checking it twice. With 2 assists and 3 goals she helped her team win back to back victories. Way to show up strong on your home ice, Dark Blue!

'Tis the season to be jolly... and hustle on the ice! Great teamwork by all at the Mites Holiday Classic this weekend. An extra special "Fa, La, La, La, La" to Ruairi, Parker, Owen, Ian and Finn for earning the Hustle Helmet. Good thing Santa was there to see it all!

Maverick Mendoza hustled hard in net this morning against NCYH in Rouses Point. His favorite play of the game was when he caught the puck in his goalie glove. What a save, dude!

These kiddos skated their little hearts out in their very first tournament of the season in Essex, Vermont. What a fun way to spend the holiday weekend… surrounded by turkeys and hockey pucks. Gobble, gobble!

Amelie worked hard for her very first time in net as goalie against Chazy this past weekend. Brave choice, little one!

In a big win against Chazy this morning, Porter Gagnier hustled hard, played strong D and showed what it means to be a great teammate. Nice work, buddy!
