Mites Red has stayed busy through the New Year!

The kids continued to skate hard, no matter what challenges they faced! They have had a lot of ice time and experienced some hard losses but also came away with some big wins!! Asher Wells was goalie a couple weeks ago and received the hustle helmet for stepping up and making some amazing saves! Nice work & great job to all red mites! You battled through some sicknesses and we are so proud of you. Now time to rest up & gear up for CSB this Saturday!

What a weekend the 8U Red team had at the Yamboree in Essex! They went 5-0 and came home with the Championship!

They demonstrated excellent knowledge of the game by smart passing that lead to amazing assists/goals! When they had the opportunity, they took it! They hustled hard each shift and played great defense as well. Jacob had so many saves in net! He killed it out there. The last game was against a great team and Jacob took some hard shots; we still came away with a 3-1 win!

They also took part in the skills competition on Saturday morning and won the shoot out!

Great victories this weekend! Proud of our Red team and all other PYH participants this weekend at the Yamboree. Congrats to our Jr Card girls for their championship as well! Keep working hard and cheering on your teammates. It was so fun to see our kids cheer on their fellow PYH friends in between their games. They all had a blast!

What a great weekend of hockey Mite Red had!

They kicked off the weekend in Middlebury, VT for an early morning W! Mick Bateman gave Jacob Charland- Buchanan a break from the net. Jacob skated hard out there while Mick was a little relaxed in net ;) but had some excellent saves!!

Today, they traveled to Chazy and played in 4 games! They lost to Rouses Point 1-3 and fought hard against Chazy with an 0-2 loss (pulled goalie at end to try to tie!). We were all VERY proud of their performance today and have already seen such an improvement in a few short weeks. They had two big wins today and came in 3rd place, defeating BAHA.

We missed Coach Andy but he was still there in spirit and even in a few pictures :) Good job Mite Red! We’re all so proud of you.

Congratulations on a great win against SASA on Sunday! Special shoutout to Elsie Ratliff for getting her first hat trick of her hockey career! Nice work Elsie. Keep up the good work.
